The remodeled The Duffy Times Square is a unique concept, featuring 22 queen rooms housed in two charming townhouses separated by a private outdoor courtyard. YOTEL New York at Times Square West

Slightly further from Times Square than some of these other hotels, the YOTEL New York at Times Square West has "cabins" and not rooms. Already very hip! Yotel started as airport hotels in the UK and the service functions very much like checking in to an airport. You self check in at the lobby terminals, then you can put your luggage on the conveyor belt if you choose. While missing a few of the "usual" hotel room amenities like coffee makers, room service, etc, for the price point, most people, especially European travelers, are very happy with their stays.
