Lincoln Center Restart Stages
April 7 – Ongoing, 2021
Lincoln Center Restart Stages is a collaboration that reimagines public space to create 10 outdoor performance and rehearsal spaces, helping to kickstart the performing arts sector and New York City’s revival. Restart Stages will feature free and low-cost events by organizations, including Lincoln Center’s resident companies.
Enjoy a concert and cabaret series by Lincoln Center Theater, film screenings from Film at Lincoln Center, dance workshops from New York City Ballet, and performances by the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance (BAAD!), Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute, Harlem Week and the Harlem Arts Alliance, Korean Cultural Center New York, Weeksville Heritage Center and many more.
All offerings will occur outdoors with safety protocols in place for artists, audiences and staff. Restart Stages kicks off April 7, 2021 with a special performance for healthcare workers and future events and details will be announced over time.

NY Pops Up
February 20 - Labor Day, 2021
NY Pops Up is a new in 2021 festival programmed by artists, with artists, for the public and set to feature hundreds of performances, many of which will be open to the public free of charge. The catch? Most performances will not be announced in advance - prepare to be spontaneously surprised across NYC all spring and summer.
The Festival will reach its climax with the 20th Anniversary of the Tribeca Film Festival (June 9-20, 2021) and The Festival at Little Island at Pier 55, bringing the total number of performances to more than 1,000.

Sports are back in 2021, with limited seating, distancing and safety protocols in place.
May is a great sports month in NYC! Baseball and Football Club seasons are well under way and, hopefully, we have a basketball or hockey team in the Playoffs. The sports atmosphere in New York is exhilarating year round and some of the most intense competition is within our own rivalries.

The 2021 NY Fleet Week will be hosted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Prior Years: Thousands of Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard ships have come to NYC nearly every year since 1984. Fleet Week is the City’s celebration of the sea services and provides an opportunity to see the latest capabilities of today’s Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Team.
Fleet Week includes dozens of military demonstrations and displays, as well as public visitation of many of the participating ships. Ship Tours are held at Pier 88 and in Staten Island, daily Thursday – Monday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Walk around Greenwich Village browsing tons of artwork displayed by original artists. Paintings, sculpture, eco-friendly art and lots of other unique pieces to see or purchase, at far less than gallery prices.
Location: It is a sidewalk show, not a street fair, and has its venue on University Place, starting at East 13th Street and continuing south along the east side of Washington Square Park to West 3rd Street. The southern end of the show encompasses Schwartz Plaza, (aka Bobkin Lane), between NYU’s Shimkin Hall and Bobst Library. More Info: wsoae.org

Enjoy FREE sea, air & space themed movies under the stars all summer long on the Flight Deck! 2019 Movies: Top Gun, Dunkirk, TBD, First Man, Community Choice Pick.
The flight decks opens at 7pm, film begins at sunset. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, however no outside alcohol is permitted.
