NYC July Events and Activities Calendar

New York City Events July 2021 are starting to return with tons of safe and fun things to do in July. Our Mayor recently said "New York City will fully reopen starting July 1, 2021." Enjoy Shakespeare in the Park, Yankees & Mets subway series, Yankees vs. Red Sox and the confirmed July 4th fireworks.

In prior years, July events included the Met Museum Roof Martini Bar, Restaurant Week, Central Park SummerStage, Midsummer Night Swing, NYC Summer Restaurant Week, Bryant Park Film Festival, GMA & Today Show Summer Concert Series and more.

New York Weather in July can be pretty hot, so many New Yorkers escape on the weekends to local beaches, such as the Hamptons and the Jersey Shore. Our celebrations of July 4th, including the fireworks over the East River, are a truly spectacular NYC experience.

Make sure to check sightseeing and holiday hours for Sunday, July 4, 2021 and Monday, July 5th.

Hotels with Views of NYC July 4th Fireworks

  • Hotel 50 Bowery – The Crown Rooftop at Hotel 50 Bowery, one of NYC’s newest hotels, is Lower East Manhattan’s most spectacular 360-degree view to celebrate and watch the fireworks with a clear view of the fireworks and city, downtown to Brooklyn to Midtown.
  • Hotel Indigo – ‘The room was large, and had a great view towards the east and the south, giving wonderful views of the July 4th fireworks. The hotel is in the heart of things, with the bars and restaurants of the LES all a short walk way.’
