Winter Broadway Week

Ticketmaster Shows – Broadway Shows sold through Ticketmaster include direct links to purchase Broadway Week Tickets. Just choose any show during Broadway Week days and use code BWAYWK. In addition to the 2 for 1 offer, you have an opportunity to purchase BETTER SEAT LOCATIONS for select performances by simply paying $125 per ticket and using code BWAYUP.

There is a two-ticket minimum per purchase. Anything in excess of the initial 2-for-1 minimum, shall be issued at 50% off its original price (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets do not have to be purchased in even amounts (e.g., you can purchase three tickets).

  • Know which shows are offered on Ticketmaster and which on Telecharge or SeatGeek, so you can go as quickly as possible to their Broadway Week pages as soon as tickets are on sale. Disney shows (Aladdin, Lion King, Wicked) all sell through Ticketmaster. On each site, you’ll have to click through to the ticket pages to see if the show keeps you on that site or sends you to the other (they each link to each other for all Broadway Shows and each sells reseller tickets of the other site’s shows)
  • Set up your Ticketmaster and Telecharge accounts now. Make sure to enter your information and payment methods so you can check out as quickly as possible when tickets go on sale.
  • The ticket seller is determined by the theater, not the show. The Shubert Organization, which owns 17 Broadway Theaters, also owns Telecharge, so they sell their own tickets.
  • Be ready at your computer 10am (usually) EST for tickets to go on sale.
  • In 2022 Citibank-only Mastercard and Mastercard had exclusive pre-sales
  • Some years, you can check www.nycgo.com/exclusive-presale the week BEFORE Broadway Week tickets go on sale and use code BWWKPR to get broadway tickets before the general public
  • Even if you are not an AARP member, check that same link the week before tickets on go on sale to see an "almost" complete list of shows that will be on sale for Broadway Week

  4. I clicked on the MJ Musical Link and get a message that reads ‘The page you requested could not be found’. After I manually look for the show and use the code in the unlock section it reads “special offers unlocked’ yet there is no variation in the total for the 3 tickets. How can i get it to work? I unlock the offer yet there is no discount in the total cost.

  5. Hi – I’m trying to take advantage of the 2-for-1 offer in NYC for Hamilton. I have entered the code BWAYWK on the final confirmation page but it says the code is not valid.

    The guide says, “On the ticket purchase page, enter the code: BWAYWK. Once the code is entered, the map will show you the seats that are available for the 2 for 1 offer.”

    These instructions do not reflect what I see when I click the “Find tickets” button. There is nowhere on the map page where I can enter a code – only at the last confirmation page where I enter payment details.

    Please help.
