NEW!!! Just found Hamilton (with Lin-Manuel Miranda) and Dear Evan Hansen (with Ben Platt) online. Hurry before they are removed, which I’m sure they will be.

RENT: Broadway Production (Full Live Performance, 2008)

One of my all time favorites, and of course, originally starring two of my high school friends and native New Yorkers, Idina Menzel and Adam Pascal. In New York City’s gritty East Village, a group of bohemians struggle to live and pay their rent. "Measuring their lives in love," these starving artists strive for success and acceptance while enduring the obstacles of poverty, illness and the AIDS epidemic. May the coronovirus last us FAR less than "525,600 Minutes."

In The Heights – Lin-Manuel Miranda’s First Broadway Musical

Some of you may not have heard of Lin-Manuel Miranda until Hamilton, but anyone who saw In The Heights from 2008-2011 certainly did! In The Heights was nominated for thirteen Tony Awards and won four, including the 2008 Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Choreography awards.

Described as the new “Rent” with Brazilian beats, In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan’s Washington Heights – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music.

If/Then (Broadway Preview 2014)

Once again, starring the fabulous Idina Menzel (some of may know her as Elsa), LaChanze and Anthony Rapp. If/Then follows the story of Elizabeth, age 35, as she moves back home to NYC from Los Angeles after her recent divorce. While meeting friends in Madison Square Park, the story splits in to two different lines based on a moment in time, where Elizabeth either ignores or takes a phone call.

It’s not the highest quality recording, but the show was fantastic (and yes, I’m biased)!

Hamilton LIVE from Home

John Krasinski has been streaming his new SGN (Some Good News) show during the lockdown. In Episode 2 of SGN, he surprises Aubrey, who had tickets to see Hamilton, but could not go…

Bruce Springsteen on Broadway

Available to stream on Netflix. Bruce Springsteen made his Broadway debut in Fall 2017 with “Springsteen on Broadway,” a solo show at the very intimate, 975-seat Walter Kerr Theatre. The Boss’s show was so popular, tickets were averaging $800 per person and the show was extended three times.

Broadway Carpool Karaoke

OK, so it’s not an actual show, but one of James Cordens’ best ever (after Sir Paul and Adele). With James Corden hosting the Tony Awards, he calls on Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski to get him through New York traffic while they sing tunes from Hamilton, Les Misérables and other Broadway classics.

South Pacific at Paper Mill Playhouse

Not quite on Broadway, but the Paper Mill Playhouse did a fantastic job "washing that man right out my hair!" Rodgers and Hammerstein would be proud.
