Bryant Park is hosting twenty-six live and in-person music, dance, and theater events produced in partnership with a diverse lineup of New York City’s performing arts institutions. Some featured partners are Carnegie Hall Citywide, The Town Hall, Joe’s Pub, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, American Symphony Orchestra, New York City Opera and many more. All performances are free to the public and designed to be enjoyed casually – no tickets required—with ample seating available and free picnic blankets for audience members to borrow.

Metropolitan Opera Summer HD Festival

The popular Summer HD Festival returns featuring ten thrilling performances from the Met’s Live in HD series of cinema transmissions— plus a special film screening co-presented with Film at Lincoln Center to kick off of the 11-day event. No tickets are required for the festival in NYC. More than 3,000 seats are available each night, plus space for overflow crowds on the plaza.
