Bryant Park Picnic Performances
June 1 – September 14, 2023
Bryant Park is hosting twenty-six live and in-person music, dance, and theater events produced in partnership with a diverse lineup of New York City’s performing arts institutions. Some featured partners are Carnegie Hall Citywide, The Town Hall, Joe’s Pub, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, American Symphony Orchestra, New York City Opera and many more. All performances are free to the public and designed to be enjoyed casually – no tickets required—with ample seating available and free picnic blankets for audience members to borrow.

Come see NYC turn into the world’s largest rainbow @ Pride, the city’s premiere LGBTQIA+ celebration for over 50 years. There’s a ton of events including The Rally, The March & Pride Island. The 2023 theme is “Strength in Solidarity” and Christina Aguilera is headlining NYC Pride Island on Sunday, June 25th at Brooklyn Army Terminal. More Info: Pride in NYC, Cruises, Events, Hotels
Filled with a series of fabulous and fun events, the festivities begin with Family Night and the Rally and culminate with PrideFest & The March. Other events include Pride Island and the annual Dance on the Pier, following the parade wrapping up Pride Week in a grand fireworks display. Every landmark, attraction, sign, just about everything in NYC is covered in rainbows all week and it is glorious!

The New York Yankees, 27-Time World Series Champions, and likely the most simultaneously loved and hated team in baseball, return to Yankee Stadium with our Captain, Aaron Judge, pitcher Gerrit Cole and shortstop Anthony Volpe. Metropolitan Opera Summer Recital Series
June 20–30, 2023
The Met’s annual concerts in New York City parks is a great city tradition. The Met’s popular Summer Recital Series in New York City parks kicks off the New York summer season with six free outdoor recitals, featuring established artists and young talents of the opera world, to New Yorkers in all five boroughs starting Tuesday, June 20. The series, now in its 14th year, has become an operatic summer tradition. Presented in collaboration with Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage, the series will start at Central Park SummerStage (Manhattan) on Tuesday, June 20, at 8PM, and then at Brooklyn Bridge Park (Brooklyn) on Friday, June 23, at 7PM.

June in NYC offers some of the year's most perfect NYC weather. Central Park foliage is in gorgeous bloom, the trees lush and the water starting to warm. New Yorkers are consistently playing outside: beach, tennis, volleyball, frisbee, biking, baseball and much more. The weather in NYC in June is fairly consistent day to night and most likely you not need any sort of jacket or coat. You can bring an evening sweater to be safe, but the dress code is likely shorts, tanks/tees, sundresses and open toe shoes.
