Motown The Musical on Broadway Closing January 18, 2015. Motown The Musical charts Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Michael Jackson and The Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Marvin Gaye and many more. The music in this show is just phenomenal and you are guaranteed to be dancing and singing up a storm throughout the show! 

Synopsis: MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL is the real story of the one-of-a-kind sound that hit the airwaves in 1959 and changed our culture forever through music. The book is written by Berry Gordy himself, so you know you’ll be experiencing his life and music play out on stage. The tunes of Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Jackson 5, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and more will make it easy to get your toes tapping.

Motown the Musical will be closing January 18, 2015, however, they plans to re-open at a different theater in 2016.
