NYC Insider Guide January Events Calendar

Happy New Year! New York City Events January 2011 follow a long month of celebrations, parties and shopping, so January is much quieter in New York City. Masses of visitors have left, making this an ideal time to visit and have every attraction to yourself.

Please add your event to the New York City Events Activities January calendar or check the current New York City Events January Calendar, for the latest monthly guide.

The Rockefeller Tree is up until January 2nd, many holiday lights will remain for a few weeks and everything is on sale in the stores! The only catch? It’s freezing, so layer up with hats, gloves, scarves, heavy sweaters and your best boots.

Please check sightseeing and holiday hours for New Years Day (January 1st) and Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 17).
