Ground Zero Memorial and 9/11 Memorial Museum
The 9/11 Memorial will be dedicated on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and be open the public on September 12, 2011. Free tickets to see the Memorial are now available and booking QUICKLY. If you want to visit the Ground Zero Memorial in the next year, make your free reservations now!

Catch Me If You Can on Broadway closing September 4th
Paul McCartney’s Ocean’s Kingdom – The New York City Ballet brings together the legendary Sir Paul McCartney and Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins for a hallmark collaboration. Ocean’s Kingdom marks the first time that McCartney has composed for dance, and Martins’ choreography will follow the music’s libretto of a romance between lovers from conflicting kingdoms. The costumes are designed by renowned fashion designer, Stella McCartney.
Statue of Liberty Crown Closing for Upgrades November
On November 1, 2011, all interior spaces of the Statue of Liberty will close while upgrades are made to the 125 year old pedestal and the 200 year old fort base from which the statue rises. Museum of Modern Art increases adult admission to $25 from $20 on September 1st. The new regular adult admission price is $25; $18 for seniors; $14 for students; children 16 and under remain free.
Metropolitan Museum of Art Raises Suggested Donation
The suggested admission price to the Metropolitan Museum of Art was recently increased to $25 from $20. The new regular adult suggested admission is $25; $17 for seniors; and $12 for students. Children under 12 remain free.
HAIR on Broadway – returns for a limited engagement through September 10th. With a score including enduring musical numbers like “Let the Sun Shine In,” “Aquarius,” “Hair” and “Good Morning Starshine,” Hair depicts the birth of a cultural movement in the ’60s as told through a tribe of hopeful hippies living in New York City while war rages in Vietnam.
