Treat yourself to a romantic and fun night out at The Metropolitan Room’s upcoming show, A Little Love, A Little Amour. Suzanna Ross, who crafted the idea and chose the line up for songs for this live music cabaret show, will be singing a collection that includes American jazz, a few pop tunes of the 60s and 70s, French classics, and some movie favorites. The songs are from the lists of Peggy Lee, Dusty Springfield, Diana Krall, Sting, Michel LeGrand, Edith Piaf, Lucienne Delyle, Francoise Hardy, and more.

Recently posted on BroadwayWorld.com, Suzanna is currently in rehearsals with her band, which includes Frank Ponzio on piano, Iris Ornig on bass, Jeremy Powell on sax, and Vito Leschek on drums. All of the musicians are well-regarded in both the NYC and European scenes and have performed at the NYC’s top tier clubs from The Metropolitan Room and Birdland, to the Café Carlyle.

Suzanna Ross has performed in Manhattan at the TOMI Jazz Club, Café Noctambulo/Pangea, and at Kitano Hotel’s Jazz Club. She has also performed at New York City’s cultural venues including the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning. Her singing is known for its warm, smooth, romantic vibe that lends itself to melodies and lyrics sung in both English and French. She trained at the British-American Drama Academy, London, England, is a Carnegie Mellon University alum, and has performed in theater and on television.
