Climbing Wall Herald Square NYC – What’s Your Mountain? Start your day on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 by summiting a 30-foot climbing wall in Herald Square (Broadway between W. 34th Street and W. 35th Street) in celebration of Post Grape-Nuts’ role in Sir Edmund Hillary’s historic ascent up Mt. Everest 60 years ago. Each participant will be given a purple flag to declare a goal, or “mountain”, in their life they would like to conquer, which they will stick to the highest peak they reach on the urban mountain. This is a free event that is open to the public. The wall will be available for climbing between 7AM and 2PM and is open to climbers of all ages and abilities.
Additionally, commuters will have the opportunity to begin their morning with a free sample of Grape-Nuts Fit, the brand’s newest addition featuring a melody of flavors and textures, including lightly crunchy nuggets, crispy granola, puffed barley, cranberries and a hint of natural vanilla flavor. The samples will be distributed in the Herald Square area in Manhattan – as far west as Penn Station and as far north as Times Square. So be sure to look out for the purple flags and stop by to pick-up some tasty free samples!
