March Weather in New York

As the saying goes, March tends to be “in like a lion, out like a lamb,” though that has not been true in recent years. March can bring anything from blizzards to 60+ degree days and is likely one of the most unpredictable months of the year. Generally speaking, it is on the colder side and more winter than anything else, with little variation from day to night.

Historical March high/low temperatures are 48/34 (F) and 8/1(C). It is best to pack hats, scarves, gloves, waterproof shoes/boots, sweaters, coats, umbrellas; or be ready to buy them fairly cheaply on the street.

Spa Week NYC - Great Jones Spa

Moved to June in 2020. Bookings Open June 15, 2020.

From April 15-21, 2019, hundreds of top spas around the city offer treatments for $50. Facials, massages, laser hair removal and more. My favorite spa is Great Jones (photo), because of their amazing water lounge, steam and sauna, however, they no longer have the best spa week deals. Another great spa that partakes in Spa Week is Elizabeth Arden.
