St. Patrick’s Day, Motown the Musical, Brooklyn Nets
Whether you are Irish and want to celebrate your heritage, or just love Irish Pubs and Crawls, there are a ton of St. Patrick’s Day Events in New York City . Things to do on St. Patricks Day in NYC range from the famous St. Patricks Day Parade and St. Patrick’s Cathedral to the world’s largest Pub Crawl or more sophisticated “only in NYC.”
Motown The Musical on Broadway starts previews on March 11 (can you say AMAZING music????) and of course, the newly opened Lucky Guy Broadway Play Starring Tom Hanks and Breakfast at Tiffany’s on Broadway are going strong. Don’t forget, you can still see Scarlett Johansson star as Maggie the Cat in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof til the end of March.
On the kids’ front, the Harry Potter Exhibit continues, as does the Spy Exhibit which closes at the end of March. The Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Circus runs all month, continuing with March 13-17, 2013 at Nassau Coliseum and next week, Mar 22-30, 2013 at the Barclays Center.
NYC Sports are bit quiet at home this week, with the Brooklyn Nets playing Sun, Mar 17, 8:00pm vs Atlanta.
The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden, always a beautiful exhibit and a gorgeous setting for evening cocktails (great date night!) opened on March 2nd.
