This is one of my all time favorite sports events. The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is one of the nicest sporting venues there is, and the crowd is always amazing. Who knows, maybe you’ll catch an 11 hour tennis match this year?

44th Annual African American Day Parade

The African American Day Parade, the largest Black Parade In America, is a colorful and musical event with crowds packing the streets of Harlem as floats glide belting music from soca to reggae, ragga and soul.

The Parade includes Grand Marshalls Rev. Al Sharpton, David Dinkins, Dr. Adelaide Sanford, Congressman Charles Rangel, William Thompson, Lillian Roberts and is a showcase of Positive Black Achievements, Black Dignitaries and Celebrities, Queens and Organizations Reflecting African Culture and more.
