It is the 9 year anniversary of 9/11/01, always a somber day in NYC, and the perfect time to make sure you visit the Ground Zero Museum or World Trade Center Site. August 28-September 12 US Tennis Open This is one of my all time favorite sports events. The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is one of the nicest sporting venues I've ever seen and the crowd is always amazing. Who knows, maybe you'll catch an 11 hour tennis match this year? |

Sunday, September 19, 2010, 1:00pm The African American Day Parade is a colorful and musical event as crowds pack the streets of Harlem and floats glide belting music from soca to reggae, ragga and soul. The 2009 parade had over 900,000 spectators. The Parade includes Grand Marshalls Governor David Paterson, David Dinkins and Rev. New York Music Festival - September 27-October 17, 2010.
