The Columbus Day Parade celebrates the spirit of exploration and courage that inspired Christopher Columbus’s 1492 expedition and the important contributions Italian-Americans have made to the United States. The Yankees are definitely moving on the Post Season in 2011! Anywhere from 11 to 19 baseball games stand between the New York Yankees and their 28th World Series Championship! Here's how the post season will likely play out:

• American League Division Series best of five format begins Fri, 9/30 (Games are 9/30, 10/1, 10/3, 10/4, 10/6). NY Yankees Home games are Fri 9/30, Sat 10/1 and if necessary, Thurs 10/6. Dates tentative.
• The American League Championship Series best of seven format, begins Saturday, October 8 (Games are October 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16). If they are in this series, Yankees Home Games are October 8th, 9th and if necessary, Sat 10/15 and Sun 10/16. Dates tentative.
• The World Series takes place October 19-27, with the American League team hosting games 3, 4 and 5. Should the New York Yankees advance to the World Series, the Yankee Stadium games will be Sat 10/22, Sun 10/23 and if necessary, Mon 10/24.
